The 82" high definition ready projector screen is made from Versatol with Glass Beaded fabric that gives perfect brightness, contrast and colour. It is suitable for use with all projectors and produces fantastic results. A glass beaded screen achieves a much higher gain by reflecting more of the projected light back along the projection axis making it an excellent choice for anyone planning a home cinema. Glass beaded technology is unparalleled as a screen surface and delivers vibrant, life-like colour reproduction. A glass beaded screen is a much better buy than its poor cousin, the matt white screen. There's just no comparison when you see the two side-by-side. Using a wall to project images onto, is in our view, a false economy. If you've paid in excess of £1600 for a projector, a top quality screen like this is a must have item to complete your home cinema. This screen gives good viewing night or day and rolls up into its metal casing (for protection) out of view when not being watched. This screen is fully motorised and comes complete with fixing brackets and wireless radio remote control. Because the remote uses radio waves, it doesn't need to be in direct line of sight to operate the screen. The remote is made from shock proof plastic for added protection.
The mains control box is the receiver for the remote. The screen is wall or ceiling mountable and comes complete with both wall brackets and ceiling rings.

Firstly and most importantly, Glass Beaded screens offer increased levels of brightness, even in rooms with some ambient light. Glass Beaded screens have a typical gain of 2.4 and most matt white screens have only 0.8 gain.
Spherical glass beads embedded in surface provide brighter on-axis viewing than matt white. Glass Beaded screens will be much brighter than a matt white screen - that's not marketing jargon, that's a plain fact!The increased brightness of the image is almost always worth the paying for above lower gain screens e.g. Matt White.
